Hamid Hakimi is the CEO & Founder of Elite Realty Group and Elite Developments. He oversees all aspects of Elite Developments real estate land development departments. Hamid is accountable for attaining 25 Million sq. ft of land to develop in Ontario and concentrates on creating value for Elite Developments clients. Hamid always ensures that the company is constantly evolving and changing with the times. Hamid also oversees Elite Realty, an award-winning brokerage in Canada, where his brokers have repeatedly achieved “Top Broker” status in southern Ontario. In 2018, Hamid and the Elite Realty Group achieved over $150 Million in sales, escalating to $200 Million in sales in 2019. Hamid was honored to be named as one of the top 3 real estate brokers in Canada. As a leader in the industry, Hamid consistently delivers a superior product in todays marketplace and assists in delivering the needs of homebuyers with developing exceptional residential and commercial properties. He is instrumental in strategically providing a platform for wealth growth management for his partners, which exceeds their expectations. Hamid also offers consultation services to developers to assist with their goal in selling multi-unit developments, plazas, hotels, commercial and industrial properties, ensuring their success, viability, and saleability. SAM SAKHI

Sam Sakhi is the President and Co-Founder of Elite Developments. Sam brings an executive level of property management experience, focussing on land acquisition and property management. Sam oversees Elite MD Capital, Elite Commercial, and Elite Management services. He is directly responsible for acquiring 25 development sites in Ontario and is the key point-person for wealth management. Some of Sam’s responsibilities are sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating equity and hybrid investments in large-scale premium developments nationwide. He recently negotiated and acquired 10.1 Million sq. ft of future development density. Sam strategically develops high quality business plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. He is instrumental in leading and motivating employees to advance their engagement, developing a high performing managerial team. Sam brings over 15 years of retail, medical and commercial management experience to Elite Developments. He opened his first walk-in clinic in Hamilton in 2005, and soon after expanded throughout Ontario. Sam currently manages and operates over 30 medical facilities from the Niagara region spanning to Brantford, Oshawa, the GTA and Eastern Canada. His portfolio includes 200 medical investors, walk-in clinics, family practices, pharmacies, IHF Licenses, and Diagnostic Imaging Centers. He is intensely committed to delivering high quality ROI for his investors and builds a platform of affordable sustainable communities. Sam has a fortitude for purchasing land in premier locations at incredible price points. When Sam is not acquiring land, he enjoys hosting friends and family at home, watching UFC, basketball games, and enjoys the outdoors with his kids on weekends.
KIM KOPYL

Kim Kopyl is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Elite Developments. She is a dedicated sales and marketing management executive with 20 years experience. She leads with passion, exceeds goals, and maintains a strong reputation for achieving excellence. Kim oversees the land development, investment management, public relations, sales & marketing departments, while providing direction to the construction, design and management teams. She is known throughout the industry for creating and elevating brand awareness within low-rise, mid-rise, high-rise, master planned developments and luxury real estate markets. Kim is instrumental in creating an award-winning, equitable brand with substantial revenue gains, while positioning the company as a leader in the industry. She manages the working capital, asset performance, capital structure and identifies strategic opportunities to drive exponential growth. Kim is accountable for everything required for the launch of a development, from conception to completion. She is an effective leader well versed in coaching, managing, consulting, research analysis, budget planning & forecasting, pricing, architectural review, negotiating and is the creative director behind all sales & marketing creative processes, strategies and platforms. Kim’s work has garnered over 70 local, provincial, and national awards. She has received the most wins and nominations for her work at the coveted CHBA and OHBA awards in 2018, and 2019 including achieving “Best Community in Canada,” by CHBA. She was honored to offer her expertise in the industry by judging the 2020 CHBA, PHBA and OHBA awards, where she has served on the OHBA executive advisory committee for the past 2 years. Kim has also directly attributed to 8,000 pre-construction sales in Ontario, estimated at $4 Billion in revenue. She has worked with top developers such as Taylor Morrison, Monarch Group, Minto, Trump Residences, VHL Developments, and Lucchetta Homes. Kim Kopyl has also consulted throughout North America and the Caribbean on developing luxury, resort-style master-planned communities. Currently she oversees a portfolio of 33 development sites for Elite Developments across Ontario. When Kim is not working on multiple launches, she is mentoring women in the construction industry, spending quality time with her family and friends, and relaxing with her dog. MARKO JURICIC

Director of Construction

Marko is the President of Brooklyn Contracting and is the Director of Construction for Elite Developments. Marko brings 24 years experience in construction project management within the residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and institutional sectors. He has advanced knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules & regulations, and quality building standards. Marko completed a civil engineering technology program, along with a business administration program at the University of Windsor. Marko is responsible for overseeing pre-construction projects from conception to completion and their activities as it relates to Elite Developments residential and commercial construction portfolio. Marko is accountable to ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the standards required at Elite by consistently reviewing the projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. He cultivates a high degree of client and customer satisfaction, leveraging relationships and developing new opportunities and managing their expectations. He is also responsible for the management and preparation of bids & proposals and overseeing the successful delivery of secured work. Marko leads a high performing team of project managers, consultants, construction workers, subcontractors, and trades. He has supervisory accountability including hiring, training, and motivating the construction team members while monitoring the design, schedule, legal, contractual, and financial aspects of all construction projects. He negotiates the terms of agreements, drafts contracts and obtain permits and licences for developments, in combination with hosting weekly meetings to liaise with senior management ensuring appropriate resources are available. Marko’s in-depth understanding of all project aspects has resulted in a proven track record of delivering successful mid-rise, high-rise, and commercial projects under tight deadlines and budgets with excellent quality standards. When Marko is not busy constructing properties, he loves playing and coaching basketball, and spending time with his family.
AHMAD MIRZA

Ahmad Mirza is the Marketing Manager for Elite Developments. His career began after graduating with a diploma in Human Resources from Sheridan College. Although Ahmad’s strengths reside in communication, leadership, and ethics, he realized his creative side was not being nourished and pivoted to complete studies with a diploma in marketing from Mohawk College. Ahmad has excelled in the marketing industry with 10 years’ experience developing commercial marketing strategies. His experience in marketing has retained international clientele. His focus has solely been in real estate for the past 8 years, where he manages multiple sales sites and completes market analysis studies. He also assists with brand awareness, creates investment portfolio brochures, manages social media, assists with the creation of ad campaigns, site signage, sales reporting, employee engagement and retention, and execution of deliverables. He is a graphic design guru. Ahmad works along side the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, with direct reports to the Vice President and President. Ahmad is a dynamic, independent, resourceful and sales-minded team member, who provides full support to the executive team. His work ethic coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills plays a vital role in Elite Developments client retention strategies. He has been integral in creating a platform of 50,000 registered prospects, assisting in $30 million in revenue. When Ahmad is not multitasking at work, he loves playing basketball with friends, spending time with his extended family and serving his community through volunteer work with his wife. “We do things right, or we don’t do things at all” is something Ahmad lives by.
MOHAMMED HUSSAIN

Mohammed Hussain is Elite Developments Chief Financial Officer. Mohammad has thirty-five years of fiscal management experience, who is known as an influential strategic finance leader who skillfully works across teams to solve diverse problems. His expertise spans across all areas of finance including tax, treasury, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and performance management complemented by business leadership with strategy, P& L management, M&A and supply chain operations. Mohammed is solely responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Mohammed Hussain has held various positions from Director of Finance, Corporate Controller, Chief Financial Officer for a diverse portfolio for Vintage Resorts, Skyline Investments and Sunray Group of Hotels. His vast knowledge combined with his innate ability to implement internal controls, policies and procedures allow him to act on deficiencies and drive revenue results. He has also served as a third-time Director of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professional Association on an International level and as President and Board of Director for the Ontario Chapter. Mohammed enjoys travelling and fine dinning when he is not busy with finance reporting.
SYEDA SAMAN

Corporate Controller

Syeda Saman is currently working with Elite Developments as their corporate controller overseeing all aspects of accounting activities including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is also responsible for preparing payroll, creating financial budgets and reports, analyzing financial activities, while maintaining cash flow. Syeda currently holds a CPA degree and has also completed her ACCA Master’s Degree with majors in Corporate Reporting, Business Analysis, and Advanced Audit & Taxation. In addition, Syeda holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. She has gained 10 years of diverse experience while working in a multinational finance sector, primarily in accounting & auditing departments. Syeda has a comprehensive understanding of financial models, CF forecasting & financial statement analysis. She is a lovely, numbers based, independent, highly organized and results-oriented team member. Syeda has remarkable solvency, negotiation and presentation skills, while being an effective communicator. In her personal time, Syeda likes to spend it with family, nurture her creative side with creating greeting cards, and enjoys painting natural landscapes.
SAMIR SAHKI

Samir Sahki is the Property Director for Elite Developments, where he is accountable for managing the residential rental and commercial portfolios. Samir graduated with a degree in Economics from Ryerson and holds a C.P.M designation. He has 12 years experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial and residential rental properties. Samir directs various departments such as sales, accounting, maintenance, customer service and service & repair departments. Samir ensures optimal functioning in financial planning, human relations, tenancy law, building maintenance and property administration. His team holds property viewings, tenant screening processes, prepares lease agreements, move-ins, and provides 24hr care. Working congruently along side partners and contractors, Samir ensures investment properties are protected and operating efficiently. Samir consults with the sales department on developing effective marketing and leasing strategies, and coordinates and manages all building capital repairs, and renovation projects. Samir actively manages Elites properties, to ensure accretive investment returns and value creation, while establishing key performance indicators for portfolio success. During managing tenant and investor relationships he also establishes service level agreements with vendors. Samir creates property management policies & procedures, while mentoring and developing the property operations team. When Samir is not busy managing properties he is working alongside his wife, and loves spending time with his kids.
IAN MATTHEWS

Senior Project Manager

Ian Matthews is the Senior Project Development Manager for Elite Developments. He is an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in pre-construction real estate and the land development industry. Ian received his Higher National Certificate in Construction in the UK, is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Professional Quantity Surveyors, and serves on the board as Director for the Bethlehem Housing and Support Services Niagara. Throughout Ian’s expansive thirty-year career, he has worked on numerous developments in the UK, Bermuda, Canada and Qatar. Ian was the VP of Mid-Rise & Residential Construction Operations, for Phelps Homes for 4 years. He was SVP for Systech International for 2 years, Chief Quantity Surveyor of CEG International Doha Qatar for 4 years, VP at Pelican Woodcliff Inc for 2 years and was President and Managing Partner for Marion Hill Development Corporation for 14 years, which was a joint venture with Intracorp Development Co and with the Toronto Community Corporation to redevelop and revitalize the Don Mount Court in Toronto. Ian was also President of the Topaz Group for 8 years. Ian’s experience and expertise led to acquiring GTHBA’s Project of The Year for Rivertowne, amongst other awards for various design/build and revitalization of developments in the GTA. Ian has returned to Canada from Doha, Qatar where he was successfully managing a large team of project managers and quantity surveyors on infrastructure developments including hospitals, health care centres, schools, parking structures, hotels, condominiums and palaces. Ian has significant experience in land acquisition, planning and development, budgeting, estimating, contract and commercial management, claim preparation and employee management. When Ian is not busy leading multiple projects, he is an enthusiastic and avid sports fan of rugby and squash.
IBTI SAFI

Project & Design Manager

Ibti Safi is Elite Development’s Project & Design Manager, overseeing all aspects of due diligence and organizational requirements for project coordination on multiple properties. She is also detrimental in providing exterior and interior drawings, revisions, concepts, and designs for Elite’s residential and commercial portfolio. Ibti has obtained her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Effat University, with a post graduate certification in Project Management, from Centennial College and is currently working on her master’s degree in Architecture. With an additional 8 years experience in Interior Design, Engineering, Management and Architectural platforms, Ibti is also responsible for managing the pre-development activities and project financing tasks of residential and commercial developments including multifamily and mixed-use development projects. Ibti is a highly motivated, detailed, and enthusiastic manager, meeting project objectives and deadlines. She fosters effective relationships internally and externally and is Elite’s liaison with consultants, trades, designers, architects, community organizations, construction managers, city planners and government officials. She oversees the design process to ensure compliance, financing sustainability, and upholds design standards. Ibti ensures that all construction projects are successfully completed on time and within budge. She facilitates community and public agency support and approvals of master plan changes, including zoning, permitting, and financing requirements. When Ibti is not busy designing and managing sites she enjoys swimming, painting, and unwinding by watching crime shows.
JOANNE COLAMARTINI

Joanne Colamartini is the Décor Manager for Elite Developments. Joanne has had the opportunity to work in various departments specializing in design, with experience ranging from administration to customer service and management roles. Joanne brings over 10 years of experience in the pre-construction real estate industry offering an exceptional and thorough understanding of design aesthetics including the functionality of spaces, materials, colours and upgrades. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the natural ability to listen and translate the homebuyers needs into design selections. Joanne expertly presents and highlights colour packages and selections to customize homes, aligning the home buyers needs, expectations and budgets. Joanne oversees a design team, who are instrumental in managing the homebuyers experience through their design process, providing clients with design expertise and in-depth product knowledge. She prepares all necessary paperwork for the clients and coordinates the updated architectural drawings internally with the executive team and construction. Joanne’s team maintains the showroom options, organization and flow to consistently offer the best-in-class service, while participating in on-going product training sessions to stay up to date with current styles, trends and best practices. Joanne has consulted directly with homebuyers developing new home design selections for single- detached, semi-detached, townhomes and condominiums working alongside, Losani Homes, LIV Communities and Cachet Homes throughout her career. Joanne and her team take pride in building a foundation of rapport with her homebuyers, acknowledging that the color selection process is an integral step in the homebuyer’s journey, by bringing their dream home to life. Sayed has successfully nurtured business relationships with partners, stage innovators, investment bank coverage advisors, financial advisors, investors, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries. Sayed is accountable for creating and securing strategic partnerships and investment groups, aligning business opportunities for building wealth portfolios. He aligns well-suited partnerships by arranging meetings and presentations in Canada. Sayed serves as an Ambassador for Elite Developments building social and economic capital while working with financial institutions, regional, national and international officials, lawyers, and consultants. He coordinates with global leaders and provides consultation and guidance with Canadian regulations for top-tier investments. Sayed has formulated many partnerships with stakeholders, employees, and corporate leaders to connect business objectives and community relations. He is instrumental in developing proactive strategies which identify new business opportunities. Sayed supports project assessments and makes recommendations on project feasibility relating to marketability as well as operational, building, fiscal viability, and cost analyses. When Sayed is not busy forming new business relationships, he loves spending time with his family, hosting BBQ’s, and giving back to his community.
